English Competitions!!

For the first time ever, my girls participated in english competitions. First, let me clarify something, their english is not the best and at our currently school we (parents) had to deal with the problem. For me, they need to learn vocabulary and basic words, you know simple things and then difficult things, but not here. Ok, with that said let's recap what happened.
The English teacher set up picture bee competitions for pk to first grade. Second grade was sentence bee and from third grade thru sixth grade, spelling bee. Of course, there were lots of sad faces.
My girls freaked out when they saw the judgments and the microphone. They only made two (Paola) and three (Sofia) sentences. Of course, Sofia told to her teacher that she needs to learn english cause she wants to move to USA, breaks my heart.
No matter, what happened I'm so proud of them cause they did a great job. They received a participation award and they were so happy with that.

Week Recap!!!

Well the rest of our week was the same. You know, worked, homework, tests, cooking, you see nothing new. The only highlight of the week was the English competitions, but I'm going to post about it in other post.

Sunday and Monday!!!

Thanks God, we had a very nice and relaxed weekend. We ended our Saturday with the new movie of Pirates and Fairies, it was great.

Sunday: We slept in (until 10:15, amazing). Stayed home all day and got all our stuff ready for the week.

And today, well another day of worked and back to the routine. But spring break is around the corner (seven more days of work, but who's counting?).

Love when we have a relax day. Our morning was the same as always, Pablo worked until noon and ee stayed at home.
Sofia woke up at 9:30 and we had a one on one time. Paola slept in, she woke up at 10:30 and look so relax. Poor baby, she was so tired.
The rest of our day was at home. Cleaning, doing the laundry, enjoyed a clean yard and add some Easter decorations.
Did I mentioned I liked days like today? If not, I love my day.

Via Crucis!!!!

Yesterday at school, our students did the "via crucis". It was beautiful and all the students did a great job.
Checked some pictures of them.
Happy Saturday!!!

Vegetable garden at school!!!

I'm in charge of the vegetable garden at school with my second grade students. We put all our efforts to grow it but it didn't make it. So, today we cleaned the area and planted new ones. We planted peppers, oregano, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, sweet peppers. We are so excited and praying that everything grows.
Check our garden in pictures.
